Visas to Dubai to be offered on Emirates Airline website

Dubai has introduced a new online system which will allow people to obtain visas for 96 hours or 30 days through the website of the national airline Emirates.
The visa application, which will benefit 35 countries in Europe, the USA, and in the Indian sub continent , is an "extension of the process of reserving and purchasing tickets through Emirates.com," specified the airline, quoted by Gulf News.
The requirements to gain entrance visas (which cost 44 dollars for 96 hours and 57 dollars for 30 days) are listed on the website of the DNRD, the Dubai naturalization and residency department. Once the application has been accepted, visas are delivered via email within four working days. During this period, passengers will be able to follow the stages of acceptance and check the status of their application via the internet.
