Dubai still offers good property investment

Dubai can still offer sound investment opportunities for people looking to make an international money transfer and buy property abroad.
An international property agent has said that while Dubai is going through a "period of adjustment", it can offer "commercial sector opportunities to secure a position in Dubai at very good prices".
Nicholas Marr, CEO of Homesgofast.com added that falling demand from the business community has led to the decrease in property prices.
However, he said this meant that lifestyle buyers could find bargains in deluxe areas like Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Springs and Arabian Ranches.
"These areas will only improve as work continues with infrastructure improvements in the emirate making life even easier for those living and working there."
Figures from the United Arab Emirates property developer Asteco, indicated that Dubai rental rates have declined by 24 per cent for apartments and 18 per cent for villas on average across the year of 2009.
