Pearl to invest EUR 100 million in 10 hotels

Pearl Investment, headquartered in Dubai, reports that it will invest about 100 million euros to launch another 10 hotels in the Gulf region and India in the next five years. The group, which manages the Flora hotel chain in Dubai (over 700 rooms and furnished apartments), plans to enter the Saudi Arabian market by opening hotels in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. The group, which employs about 3,000 people, has not laid off any workers despite the international economic crisis.
