Real estate companies gear up for property show in Dubai

Leading regional and global real estate companies are getting ready to participate at the International Property Show 2009 in Dubai which will be held next month (15 – 17 February).
Event organisers Strategic Marketing and Exhibitions (SME) announced that that the event is expected to be a catalyst for major developments that will positively impact property in Dubai.
SME managing director Dawood Al Shezawi highlighted the opportunities for potential buyers at the show.
"In many ways this year's show is going to be significantly more dynamic, definitive and exciting, given the current market scenario. Even in terms of opportunities, this edition could be unprecedented," Al Shezawi said.
Mr Al Shezawi added that the presence of internationally-recognised developers signified that the exhibition is the "definitive networking and transactional event in the region".
An estimated 27,000 visitors from over 70 countries visited the fourth edition of the International Property Show in 2008, with global purchasers and investors alike looking to buy property in Dubai.
