UAE authorises three foreign institutions to operate

The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates has granted Deutsche Bank, Japan's Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China the right to operate in the country. The services offered - as reported in statement released by the ICE offices in Dubai - will mostly be of a corporate type. Also, the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi plans to open an agency in Abu Dhabi to take advantage of the growth in trade between UAE and Japan.
